My name is Kilondra Davis, but I mostly go by my nickname, Kiki. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (IMH17884) in the state of Florida. I am also a member of the American Mental Health Counseling Association. I am passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges to attain the best version of themselves. The trouble, endured during one’s journey, can be overcome as one becomes restored. I believe through personalized interventions and techniques, individuals will obtain mental health and develop into their desired self.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I hold experience in helping individuals overcome and manage a wide range of hurdles and difficulties. Some of these presenting issues include ADHD, anger, anxiety, cultural differences, depression, emotional regulation, grief, ODD, parental issues (separated parents, divorced parents, adoption), psychological abuse, separation anxiety, self-harm, stress, suicidal ideation, and trauma. I also have experience in group and couples counseling.
I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to effectively assist clients in achieving their optimal level of mental health. I believe each individual is unique and deserves a treatment that is tailored to them.
It is extremely rewarding to witness someone come to a place of hope and happiness. I am so grateful for the opportunity to support my clients during their journey.
